"Departure"

In our world nothing is permanent. Everything vanishes, everything changes and everyone leaves. There are the feelings of happiness, excitement, and sadness. Sacrifices and heartbreaking decisions are common in our lives. But why all of these things have to happen, why all of the things you have, you know will never last for a lifetime?

For me, airport is an ocean of tears. Why do I say so? Well you can see tears of joy in the arrival station while in the departure station is full of tears of sadness, tears of letting go. Most of the Filipinos are leaving our country for their source of income, for their family and for themselves. The feeling of being left by your loved ones is like the feeling of losing the value of your life. It’s hard but you have to accept it and get used to it. Besides it is for our own sake also. Excitement, nervous and pain are the feelings of the passengers as they fasten their seat belts and fly to their destination. Excited and nervous because they don’t know what will happen to them and most importantly they are going to step in an unfamiliar land and almost knowing nothing. And pain because they are going to leave not only their home but at the same time their loving family who are always there for them.

It is really painful to lose someone or something you loved or used to have. I know every individual has something that they really treasure and value like their own lives. But we ain’t in a perfect world. Everything will come to an end. Sometimes the things or the persons we know we won’t survive without having them are the ones who leave us and left us a good memory that we will bring for a lifetime. They may not be with us physically but their love and memories will be in our hearts forever.

There are also some things within us that we should change or forget. Negative vibes that we posses, bad traits we used to have. Change for the betterment of ourselves and for the sake of others around us. I think these are the things that should really be taken away from us. We want them to go away but they are the ones who we can’t get rid of easily. Why them? Why not those things we want to remain. Well I guess the answer is simply because these are the things that stay within us because they are part of our personality and it takes a lot of time and effort for us to adjust and to be the person we want us to be.

Often times our judgement on the word “Departure” is leaving. It is painful, heart breaking and sorrowful. But for me departure do not often means good bye or end but the start of something new, a fresh beginning of a new world and a new you. Yea there’s no permanent, everything vanishes, these things might leave our lives intended or not but what I believe is everything happens for a reason. I know behind our tears are purposes and plans of God for us, remember He has the most perfect one. If it is really for us then it will be back in our arms but if not then accept it and maybe there’s something or someone that will enter our lives and be the reason of our smiles and happiness and most importantly they are the ones who will influence and inspire us to be the best of what and who we are.

GWAPINGS' CREATION: WILD IMAGINATION:D

Last December 2010 I spent two nights away from our house. Where did I sleep? In Germany, I mean "Guemasan" LOL. Home of the "Bad Brothers". Of course I brought my LR to capture some moments. But guess what, we did not just take pictures of ours but also master pieces that we can proudly show you.

I together with Ian, Jao, Franz and Irvin transformed the dark cold nights into a blasting and exciting one. Here are some of our creations:

Franz, Me, Ian and Jao (Left- right)

So there you have the "gwapings' creation". Hope you enjoyed them. The next time I'll sleep there or vice-versa or the next time we'll have some time for photography I'll surely share it with you.
Long time no post. Sorry:)
